മാനദണ്ഡങ്ങള്‍ ലംഘിച്ച് ടാറ്റയുടെ കമ്പനിയ്ക്കും സ്പെക്ട്രം കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ടെന്ന് നേരത്തേയും രാജീവ് ചന്ദ്രശേഖര്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. വിമാന കമ്പനി തുടങ്ങാന്‍ നീക്കം നടത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ ഒരു മുന്‍ വ്യോമയാന വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രി 15 കോടി രൂപ ടാറ്റയില്‍ നിന്ന് കൈക്കൂലി ചോദിച്ചതായി ടാറ്റ ഈയിടെ പറ‍ഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. സംഭവം നടന്നതിന് 15 വര്‍ഷത്തിന് ശേഷം ഇത്തരം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തലുകള്‍ നടത്തുന്നത് ശക്തമായ പ്രതികരണമല്ല പകരം വെറും ബൗദ്ധിക പോസ്റ്റ് മോര്‍ട്ടമാണെന്നും രാജീവ് കത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നു.

ടാറ്റയ്ക്ക് വഴിവിട്ട് സ്പെക്ട്രം നല്‍കിയത് വഴി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ ഖജനാവിന് നഷ്ടമായത് 19.074.8 കോടി രൂപയാണ്. തുറന്ന കത്തില്‍ പറയുന്നത് ഇങ്ങനെയാണ്.
