പെരിയാറില്‍ 4 യുവാക്കള്‍ മുങ്ങിമരിച്ചു

മലയാറ്റൂര്‍: മലയാറ്റൂര്‍ തീര്‍ഥാടനത്തിനെത്തിയ നാല് യുവാക്കള്‍ കോടനാടിനു സമീപം പെരിയാറില്‍ മുങ്ങിമരിച്ചു. ഫോര്‍ട്ട്‌കൊച്ചി സ്വദേശികളായ ജെറി, ബിനീഷ്, കണ്ണന്‍, ജിബിന്‍ എന്നിവരാണ് മരിച്ചത്.

ദു:ഖവെള്ളി ദിനത്തില്‍ കാലത്ത് മലയാറ്റൂരിലേയ്ക്ക് പോകുംവഴി മലയാറ്റൂരിന് സമീപത്ത് പെരിയാറില്‍ കുളിക്കാനിറങ്ങിയ യുവാക്കള്‍ ഒഴുക്കില്‍പ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.

മൂന്നു പേര്‍ സംഭവസ്ഥലത്തുവച്ചും ഒരാള്‍ ആസ്പത്രിയില്‍ എത്തിച്ചതിനുശേഷവുമാണ് മരിച്ചത്. മൃതദേഹങ്ങള്‍ പെരുമ്പാവൂര്‍ താലൂക്ക് ആസ്പത്രിയില്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്.
