ദില്ലി: ലോകായുക്ത ജസ്റ്റിസ് സന്തോഷ് ഹെഗ്ഡെ അന്തിമ റിപ്പോര്ട്ടു സമര്പ്പിച്ച ശേഷം മാത്രമേ കര്ണ്ണാടക മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ബിഎസ് യെഡിയൂരപ്പയുടെ രാജിക്കാര്യത്തില് തീരുമാനമെടുക്കൂ എന്ന് ബിജെപി അധ്യക്ഷന് നിതിന് ഗഡ്കരി അറിയിച്ചു.
രണ്ടു വര്ഷം കൂടി താന് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായി തുടരുമെന്ന് യഡിയൂരപ്പ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചതിനു തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെയാണ് ഗഡ്കരി ഇത്തരമൊരു പ്രഖ്യാപനവുമായി എത്തിയത്. ലോകായുക്ത റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ഇതുവരെ സര്ക്കാരിനു ലഭിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ലഭിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം എല്ലാ അന്വേഷണങ്ങള്ക്കും മറുപടി നല്കുമെന്നാണ് മൗറീഷ്യസില് അവധിയാഘോഷം കഴിഞ്ഞ് തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ യഡിയൂരപ്പ പറഞ്ഞത്. അതേ സമയം ബുധനാഴ്ച റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് സമര്പ്പിക്കുമെന്ന് ഹെഗ്ഡെ അറിയിച്ചു.
അനധികൃത ഖനനത്തില് ലോകായുക്ത ജസ്റ്റിസ് സന്തോഷ് ഹെഗ്ഡെ സമര്പ്പിക്കാനിരുന്ന അന്തിമറിപ്പോര്ട്ട് ചോര്ന്നതോടെയാണ് യെഡിയൂരപ്പയുടെ രാജിക്കായി വിവിധ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില് നിന്ന് സമ്മര്ദ്ദം ഉയര്ന്നത്.
In Delhi today, Nitin Gadkari, who heads the BJP, said that the party will consider Mr Yeddyurappa's future after Mr Hegde's report is formally presented to the government. Mr Hegde said last week that his phones had been tapped, indicating that might have been how the report was leaked to the media last week. Mr Yeddyurappa, who returned from a holiday to Mauritius this morning, said, "I am particularly hurt about phone-tapping (allegations). If the Lokayukta was suspicious that his phone was being tapped, he should have reported to the Central government... I am going to request to the Prime Minister to send a team to Karnataka to enquire about all these phone-tapping affairs.",
