കൈവെട്ടുന്നത് തടയാന് ശ്രമിച്ച സുസ്മിതയുടെ അമ്മ റീനാ ദാസിനേയും മൂര്ച്ചയേറിയ കത്തി ഉപയോഗിച്ച് സന്ജോയ് വെട്ടി പരിക്കേല്പ്പിച്ചു. ഇതിനു ശേഷം ഇയാള് വിഷം കഴിച്ചു.
സുസ്മിതയേയും അമ്മ റീനയേയും മെഡിക്കല് കോളേജില് പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു. വിഷം കഴിച്ച സഞ്ജോയ് ദാസും ആശുപത്രിയിലാണ്.
Tripura police on Thursday arrested a private tutor for chopping off the hand of a girl student and injuring her mother. "Sanjoy Das, 40, attacked a middle aged woman and her daughter Susmita Das, 19, with a 'Dao' (a sharp weapon), severing one of Susmita's hands and the fingers of other," a police spokesman said.
