വാഷിങ്ടണ്: അമേരിക്കന് തൊഴില് മേഖലയിലെ കണക്കുകള് വീണ്ടും സാമ്പത്തികമാന്ദ്യ ഭീഷണി സജീവമാക്കുന്നു. അമേരിക്കന് ബ്യൂറോ ഓഫ് ലേബര് സ്റ്റാറ്റിക്സ് വെള്ളിയാഴ്ച പുറത്തുവിട്ട തൊഴിലില്ലായ്മയെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള പുതിയകണക്കുകളാണ് ആശങ്കയ്ക്കു കാരണം. ആഗസ്തില് പുതിയ തൊഴിലുകളൊന്നും കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്ക്കപ്പെടാത്തതാണ് സംഗതി വഷളാക്കിയത്.
റിപ്പോര്ട്ട് പുറത്തുവന്ന ഉടനെ തന്നെ ഡൗജോണ്സ് 2.20 ശതമാനവും നസ്ഡാക് 2.58 ശതമാനവും താഴേക്കിറങ്ങി.
യു.എസ് തൊഴില് കണക്കുകള് പെട്രോളിയം മേഖലയെയും പ്രതികൂലമായി ബാധിച്ചു. എണ്ണയുടെ ഫ്യൂച്ചര് വിപണിയില് 2.8 ശതമാനം ഇടിവുണ്ടായി. യൂറോപ്പ്, ഏഷ്യന് വിപണികളെയും അമേരിക്കയില് നിന്നുള്ള കണക്കുകള് പ്രതികൂലമായി ബാധിച്ചു.
Data released by the US Labour Department on Friday showed that nonfarm payroll employment in the country was unchanged in August 2011 over the previous month. The stagnation of the country's job market is an ominous sign for the world's largest economy, with a threat of a fresh recession now looming large.
