ബീജാപൂര്: പുതുവര്ഷ ദിനത്തില് ബീജാപൂറിലെ സിന്ധി ടൗണില് പാക് പതാകയുയര്ത്തിയത് വിവാദമായി. തഹസീര്ദാറുടെ ഓഫീസിന് മുന്നിലാണ് പാക് പതാകയുയര്ത്തിയത്. ഇതു ശ്രദ്ധയില്പ്പെട്ട സമീപവാസികള് പൊലീസില് വിവരമറിയിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
ഉടന് തന്നെ പൊലീസ് സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി പതാക പിടിച്ചെടുത്തു. പതാക അഴിച്ചെടുത്തതില് പ്രതിഷേധിച്ച് ഒരാള് ബസിന് നേരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു. പുതുവര്ഷ രാവില് ആളുകളെല്ലാം ആഘോഷതിമിര്പ്പിലായിരുന്നപ്പോഴാണ് പതാകയുയര്ത്തിയത്.
പതാകയുയര്ത്തിയയാളെ പ്രദേശവാസികള് കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്തതായും പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നു. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് ഏതാനും പേരെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തതായി പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
Tension prevailed in Sindgi town near Bijapur after it came to the notice of locals that a Pakistani flag had been hoisted on the premises of the Tahsildar's office today, police said. Soon after receiving the message, police went to the town, about 60 km from Bijapur, and seized it from the flag-pole, SP Rajappa said.,
