ഇസ്രായേല്: ഇന്ത്യയുടെ അഭിമാനം രവീന്ദ്രനാഥ ടാഗോറിന്റെ അര്ധകായ പ്രതിമ ഇസ്രായേലിലെ പ്രശസ്ത ഹീബ്രു സര്വ്വകലാശാലയില് സ്ഥാപിച്ചു. നോബേല് സമ്മാന ജേതാവായ ടാഗോറിന്റെ നൂറ്റിയന്പതാം ജന്മവാര്ഷികത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചാണ് ഇവിടെ അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുള്ള ബഹുമാനാര്ത്ഥം പ്രതിമ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
സര്വ്വകലാശാലയിലെ ജോസഫ് ഏന്റ് സീല് മെയ്സര് പൂന്തോട്ടത്തിലാണ് ടാഗോര് പ്രതിമ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഇത് ഏഷ്യന് സ്റ്റഡീസ് ഡിപ്പാര്ട്ട്മെന്റിന് അടുത്താണ്.
ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സാംസ്കാരിക മന്ത്രാലയം നിയോഗിച്ച പ്രശസ്ത പ്രശസ്ത ശില്പി രാംകിങ്കര് ബാജിയാണ് ടാഗോറിന്റെ ഈ അര്ധകായ പ്രതിമ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
