ദില്ലി: നേപ്പാളിനടുത്ത് കാഠ്മണ്ഡുവില് ഉണ്ടായ ഭൂചലനത്തില് ഞെട്ടി വിറച്ച് ഉത്തരേന്ത്യ. കാഠ്മണ്ഡുവിലാണ് ഭൂചലനത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭവകേന്ദ്രം. 7.9 തീവ്രത രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയ ശക്തമായ ചലനമാണ് ഉണ്ടായത്. നേപ്പാളില് റോഡുകളും ബഹുനില കെട്ടിടങ്ങളും തകര്ന്നടിഞ്ഞു. ഇന്ത്യ നേപ്പാള് അതിര്ത്തിയില് ഭൂചലനത്തെത്തുടര്ന്ന് ഒരാള് മരിച്ചു
ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യന് സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളില് കേരളത്തിലും തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലും നേരിയ ഭൂചലനം ഉണ്ടായി.
കൊച്ചിയിലും ചെന്നൈയിലുമാണ് ചലനം ഉണ്ടായത്.
