അശ്ലീലം കൂടുതലായതിനാല് സമയം മാറ്റാന് സര്ക്കാര് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടത് നടപ്പാക്കുമെന്ന് ഇമാജിന് ടെലിവിഷന് ചാനല് അധികൃതര് വ്യക്തമാക്കി. രാഖി കാ ഇന്സാഫ് എന്ന പേരില് നടി രാഖി സാവന്ത് അവതരിപ്പിയ്ക്കുന്ന പരിപാടിയാണ് രാത്രി 11 മണിയ്ക്കാക്കി മാറ്റുന്നത്.
ഇതേ വിഷയത്തില് നോട്ടീസ് ലഭിച്ച കളേഴ് ടെലിവിഷന് ചാനല് ബോംബെ ഹൈകോടതിയെ സമീപിച്ച് ഇളവ് നേടിയിരുന്നു.
മന്ത്രാലയത്തിന്റെ നിര്ദ്ദേശം തങ്ങള് നടപ്പാക്കുന്നതായി ചാനല് അധികൃതര് വാര്ത്താ കുറിപ്പില് വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്, ഇനി മുതല് രാത്രി 11 മണിയ്ക്കായിരിയ്ക്കും രാഖി കാ ഇന്സാഫ് സംപ്രേഷണം ചെയ്യുക. പകല് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പുന സംപ്രേഷണവും നിറുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഈ പരിപാടിയുടെ ശകലങ്ങള് കാണിയ്ക്കുന്നത് നിറുത്തണമെന്ന് എല്ലാ വാര്ത്താ ചാനലുകളോടും ഇമാജിന് ടി വി ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. വാര്ത്താ വിതരണ പ്രക്ഷേപണ വകുപ്പിന്റെ നിര്ദ്ദേശത്തെ ഇമാജിന് ടിവി കോടതിയില് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തിരുന്നില്ല.
Statement from Imagine TV Channel:
“We have received an advisory from the I&B Ministry that requires us to shift the telecast timing of the program, Rakhi Ka Insaaf. We are complying with the Ministry’s advice on this matter, and changing the telecast time of the program to 11 pm. We have already stopped all day time repeats of the program and have advised all news channels to refrain from carrying excerpts or clips of the show during daytime hours of 5 am to 11 pm, as directed by the Ministry. We would also like to clarify that we have not challenged this Order in any court.”
