ദമാം: സൗദി പൊലീസ് കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്ത പ്രശസ്ത ഗായകന് മാര്ക്കോസിനെ വിട്ടയച്ചു. സംഘാടകരുടെ ഭാഗത്തു നിന്നുണ്ടായ പിഴവാണ് അറസ്റ്റിന് വഴി വച്ചതെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോര്ട്ട്. പരിപാടി നടത്തുന്നതിന് സംഘാടകര് മുന്കൂട്ടി അനുമതി നേടിയിരുന്നില്ല എന്നതാണ് അറസ്റ്റിന് കാരണമായി പൊലീസ് പറയുന്നത്.
ഇതിന് പുറമേ മാര്ക്കോസിന്റെ ചിത്രം പ്രദര്ശിപ്പിച്ചും ടിക്കറ്റ് വച്ചും പരിപാടി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചതും അറസ്റ്റിന് വഴിയൊരുക്കി. ദമാമിലെ അല് നുസൈഫിലെ ഫാമില് മലയാളി സംഘടനയായ ദമാം സൗഹൃദവേദി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച മ്യൂസിക് ഫെസ്റ്റ് എന്ന പരിപാടിയില് പങ്കെടുക്കവേയാണ് മാര്ക്കോസിനെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തത്.
ഖാതീഫ് മേഖലയില് കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ഉണ്ടായ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലില് ഒരാള് കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. തുടര്ന്ന് പൊലീസ് ഇവിടെ കര്ശന നിരീക്ഷണം നടത്തി വരികയായിരുന്നു.
Playback singer K G Markose, who was on a visit to Saudi Arabia to attend a music programme, was arrested and sent to Khatif jail on Friday. He was later released. According to sources, the arrest was made as the singer had not taken permission to participate in the programme.,
